It is hoped to dispatch her this evening un the return trip. The Calm arrived thia morning from Ti tnaru. She leaves this evening for Wellington and Wanganui. The Wootton ia due from Wellington this morning, and is expected to nail on the return trip this evening. The Holmdale is due to-morrow morning from Wellington, and proceeds to Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru. She is expected back on Wednesday to load for Wellington and Wanganui. The Corinna is expected from southern ports on Sunday to load for Nelson and New Plymouth. The Kini. to load for Napier and Gisborne. is due on Thursday. The John, from New Plymouth, is duo this morning, and sails to-morrow for Wellington and Wanganui. The Katoa, from southern ports, is duo next Friday to load for Wellington and Auckland. The Koromiko, from Auckland, is due next Wednesday. COAL AND TIMBER SUPPLY. The Kakapo is due this afternoon from Greymouth with a load of coal. bhe will eail early next week, in all probability for the West Coast. The Kamona sailed last evening for Westport and Greymouth, where she will load for Lyttelton, instead of for Wellington, as previously arranged. The Opua is due from Greymouth this afternoon with timber. She will be dispatched for Greymouth on Monday. The Orepuki arrived this morning from Greymouth. The Waimarino is due to-day from Newcastle. She will complete discharging at Timaru. The Whangape is expected from Newcastle next Wednesday. THE TREMERE. The Hains Steam Ship Company's steamer Tremere (ex Augsburg; armed in Lyttelton at noon yesterday from -Wellington, after a twenty-two hours passage. an© is fitted with four masts. She has a carrying capacity of 12,000 tons deadweight, and ia fitted with the latest quick C«*-,iharguig gear. She waß built in 1915 the Fiensburger Ship Building Com= at Flensburg, for a German nrm, but the signing of the armistice she was taken over by her present owners in December, 1920. 'The present is her first visit to Lyttelton, and second visit to New Zealand. She carries a crew of fifty-four all told. Her accommodation is luxurious for a tramp steamer, the officers’ cabins being spacious and nicely furnished. The vessel's principal dimensions are: Length, 475.8 it; breadth, 60.9 ft; depth, 30ft; gross tonnage, 8047 tons. The vessel Is classed A lat Lloyd's. Captain Piokworth is in command, and has associated with him the following officers:—Chief. Mr J. Lawrie, D. 5.0.. D. 5.0., who duriDg the var was stationed on the Cornish coast in >ne of the “ Q " boats; second, Mr S. Somaaerfield; third, Mr A. H. Phillip ; chief mgitfeer, Mr J. C. Hammond; second engineer, Mr A. John; third engineer. Mr J. Hater; fourth engineer, Mr J. Taylor; fifth -Ugineer. Mr J.‘Elder; wireless operator, ’fr J. Boobyer: chief steward, Mr G. frock. The vessel has 1100 tons of cargo to Mscharge from Sydney (Nova Scotia), Montreal and New York. She is expected to ail to-morrow for Dunedin, Melbourne ind Sydney.
