Morris won the Lyttelton Club’s flying fifty handicap on Monday night. M . Smith being the runner-up. SALE OF WORK. In connection with the Salvation Army Self-denial Fund, a sale of work will be held in the Salvation Army Barracks. London Street, to-morrow, v hen the Mayor of Lyttelton will conduct the opening ceremony. The stallholders are as follow :—Jumble and variety stall, Mrs C. Argyle; plain sewing. Mesdames Dix and Pidgeon: cake stall. Airs F. Allan ; toy stall, .Misses R. Argyle and G. Dix; sweet stall. Miss L. Allan; book stall, Air Roy Williams.
