A DUNEDIN PROTEST. (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, August 18. The Dunedin District Committee has unanimously protested against the action of the Licensing Committee of New Zealand Racing Conference, in ignoring its recommendations in respect to applications for licenses from tiainers and jockeys, considering that such recommendations should have been referred back for consideration, if the Licensing Committee had any condi tions implying crime to attach to the granting of licenses, so that inquiry might be made.
