The drawings for the contest, between Australia and Spain for the Davis Cup at Philadelphia, have been announced as follows : Thursday. Patterson meets Do Gornar and Wood meets M. Alonzo. Fridav, Wood and Patterson meet M. Alonzo and Gornar. Saturday. Wood meets De Gornar and Patterson meets M. Alonzo. Patterson’s ankle and Wood’s arm are much improved. The Spaniards are also in good form and seem at home on the gra-ss courts.
