Tho Secretary of Labour (Air Davis) has announced that scores of mine owners who declined to attend the Cleveland Conference, row state that they are willing to accept the terms of the settlement. As the South Western district owners have agreed to meet the union lead - ers on August 22. it is expected that there will be a settlement, all the country within a week.
