TRAM AND WAGGON COLLIDE.

A cqrious accident happened in front of the Federal Hotel. Colombo Street, just after 2 p.m. to-day. An outward hound tram to Cranford Street caught the rear of n four-wheeled waggon belonging to Wright and Co., aerated water manufacturers. The waggon was driven along the ground in such a way that the front axle was bent down until the hub of the wheel was resting flat, on the ground. C uriously enough, nei thcr the wheel nor the axle was broken, and the waggon did not capsize. The waggon, according t-o bystanders, un expectedly slowed up when getting clear of the tram rails, and. although the tram brakes were applied hard, a collision was inevitable.
