SUPREME COURT.
CRIMINAL SESSIONS. Criminal sessions of the Supreme Court will open at Christchurch tomorrow. There are nine cases for trui! and four prisoners will come up for sentence during the sessions. The list of cases is;— CASES FOR TRIAL. Joseph Patrick Jackson, theft. Phyllis Josephine Smith, manslaughter. George Xicholls, robbery with violence. Beniamin Alexander and Victor FJlis, breaking and entering with intent. J. Walkington Smythe, arson. Charles Francis Riley, forgery and attempted false pretence. Alfred Piggott, alias Jackson, false pretences. John Sheehan, indecent assault. Alexander M’Ewan. indecent assault. FOR SENTENCE. Horace John Anderson, breaking and entering by night and theft of £2O. Robert Green, rogue and vagabond. Alexander Millar, breaking, entering and theft. George Alexander Low. breaking, entering and theft.
