The report of the Labour Industrial Brarfch of the Statistics Bureau for 1921. covering the current retail prices of food, groceries, clothing, and house rents in the thirty principal towns of the Common weal tii, shows the former to lie substantially reduced, but rents previous years. Wages showed an average increase of 5s Id weekly. Industrial disputes caused a loss of 953,617 working days with a loss of wages £757,000.
