A White Paper announces that a conference of representatives of the Empire Patent Offices evolved a scheme whereby the cost of patents throughout the Empire could be considerably reduced. The Conference proposes, pending the creation of a central office, that patents granted by the United Kingdom be accepted throughout the Empire. RUGBY FOOTBALL. WELLINGTON, August Jl.
