Sixty-four inter-island vessels are idle through the strike. Captains and engineers employed in the customs service struck in defiance of orders to remain aboard. A previous message stated that the crews of fourteen inter-island ships struck on Tuesday for increased pay All the inter-island shipping is paralysed. *
