The T.labour Party’s executive has appointed a committee to inquire into Air T. 11. Oatt’s charges. The report furnished characterises the attack as cunningly concocted misrepresentations made under cover of privilege, and designed to injure .those prominently associated with the expulsion of Air Unite from the party. Tt recommends a vote of confidence in the persons attacked. In the House of Representatives, Air J H. Oatts attacked the Labour Party nd ministration, alleging widespread corruption in the movement and demanding a miblio inquiry. These allegations referred to the New South Wales Labour Party and covered charges of corrupt balloting, engineering of Soviet propaganda, utilising corrupt money for electioneering purposes, maladministration of funds and other 3 equally wide-reaching. Air Oatts, after being recently expelled from the Labour Party, formed what is now known as the Majority Labour Party.
