MAINTENANCE CASES.
Maintenance cases were heard at the Magistrate’s Court to-day. M illiam Jam&s Courtenay, for disobedience of a maintenance order, was convicted and sentenced to fourteen days’ imprisdhment, the order to bi suspended on the payment of £2 a week. Fleur is Alphonse do Chateau was sen fenced to three months’ imprisonment, to be released on the payment of arrears. Frederick John Gallagher was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment, to be granted release on the payment of £22. Charles Stanley. Enoch, Harold Levi. Henry Bailey. Thomas William. John Francis and Raymond W ood were each ordered to pay 2s <xl a week towards the maintenance of their mother, Harriet Wood. Olivo Rose Thompson (Mr W. Cracyoft AYilson) proceeded against Harry Thompson (Air R. Twyneham) for separation, maintenance arM guardianship orders. The case was adjourned till to-morrow morning.
