MALVERN BACHELORS’ BALL.

Favoured with a full moon in a cloudless sky, the bachelors of the South Malvern district hold the : r annual ball on Friday night. An energetic committee, with Alessrs O. O. Pearson and G-. D. Alarsli as secretary and chairman respectively, spared no Dains to make the function a success. The hall was tastefully decorated yellow, blue and white streamers and evergreens, and the supper tables looked very dainty with rases of white daisies. Bands of yellow, blue on i white formed a. pretty centre to eacn table. Air J. H. Rollinsoii and th© chairman and secretary were the Al.C.’s. The music was provided by Airs E. Pereira!. Air 11. Longstaff and Mr N. Jugj gernaut. Nearly sixty couples took part in the grand march.
