There was a rood attendahce at the meeting of the Shirley-Richmond Rand of Hope* when a fine programme was presented. The chairman (the Rot -T Watt) introduced Mrs W. R. Blazer who gave a very interesting addressTwo very pretty items were rendered bv girls trained by Miss Prehble, and Miss Eileen Anderson made a very prettv Red Ctosb Nurse in “ The Rose of No Man’s Land.” Two small girls entertained the meeting by blowing bubbles, while a bevy of older girl? sang the song 11 I'm For Ever Blowing Bubbles.” The smaller girls gave two very charming dialogues. Those contributing items were:—Misses MSmith. V. Apple yard. M. and T. Stewart. R. Morrow. H. Hampton. Jessie Seward. S. Brown. Ola. Jessia and Doris M’Leod. E. Podler, P. Dingle. At. August, Masters Maurice M’Lurg and Malcolm Collie.
