The cruiser Sydney, sail - ] ing for Noumea on Saturday, has also bec-n ordered to keep a sharp look-out. EVIDENCE AT THE INQUIRY. Giving evidence at the Manurewa inquiry, Clarence Crovrley. who was residing at Port Macquarie on April 12, said he saw a barque apparently ?>eing very much buffetted by adverse winds. At one time she was stem un ; to the coast and at another she seemed to be going backwards.
