TRAGEDY IN TUNNEL.

An astonishing tragedy has occurred at the Mornav Tunnel on the Swiss frontier. A goods train was compelled to stop in the tunnel and seven men. consisting of drivers, stokers and brakesmen were suffocated to death owing to the poor ventilation of the tunnel. The tragedy was discovered when a passenger train collided with tlie goods train. The driver got down to see what was the matter and found the whole clew of the goods train dead.
