The German reply states that th© 1922 Budget is 24.500,000,000 marks less than that of 1921. Germany promises that th© publication of statistics will- be resumed on the same basis as before the war. Germany attaches special importance to the return of capital which was withdrawn from tho country to evade taxation, and will take ©very mean* to obtain its return by means o f the international loan.
