By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. SYDNEY, May 29. Mr Aird, assistant lighthouse keeper at South Head, whose son is aboard tho Manurewa, has offered a substantial sum towards coaling a vessel t-o search Middleton Reef. It is understood tkat the Navy Department has been in communication with the New Zealand Government relative to a search. Now that wreckage is coming to light daily, the Sydney agents are in an unfortunate position, as they find it difficult to make a positive identification, they not being familiar with the Manurewa, which traded so long between Auckland and San Francisco that details of her are forgotten by them.
