BRICK PRICES REDUCED.

BRICK MANUFACTURERS. The local brick manufacturers announce that they have reduced the price of bricks by 5a per 1000 at kilns, and have also reduced the cartage rates on bricks by Is. Is 6d and 2s in the first, second and third areas respectively. It ia stated on behalf of the manufacturers that the reduction warranted by the cut in wages amounts to only 2s 3d dot 1000.
