Table Association. i (Received May 16, 11.40 a.m.) MELBOURNE, May 16 Ordinances have been approved, empowering the Governor-General to sell land on fee simple in the mandated territories which were previously obtainable only on lease. Provision also is made for rights to search for gold, silver and other minerals, but not shale, petroleum, or mineral oils which are exclusively reserved for the Government. A timber ordinance provides for the issuing of licenses for an area of 5000 ncro<s for fifteen years, and reserves to the Crown absolutely tho right to acquire interests on lands owned by natives.
