HOCKEY
RANGIORA LADIES' CLUB. The annual meeting of the hockey section of the Rangiora Ladies* Physical Culture Club wai- held in the Drill Hall on Tuesday evening. Mr C. T. Jennings, president of the club, was in the- chair. The club had a very successful first season a play the A team having won the Association’s Junior Competition Cup. The finances were also in a satisfactory condition. Officers were elected as follows:—Secretary and Treasurer. Miss V. Winskill; committee. Misses Bevington, Wilson, Waller, Hawkins and Jeffreys; captain of the senior team. Mies V. Winskell. Junior team. Miss S. Hawkins - ; coach, Mr W. J. Turnpenny; selection committee, the captains, coach and Mr C. E. Bell. Tt was decided to enter teams for the Senior and Junior Competitions and to open the season on Saturday next.
