Bakbnietieff in order to testify at. the hearing of charges againtt Semenoff. A previous cable stated that the Senate Committee had subjxrnaed Af BakhmetiefF, Czanst Ambassador to the United States, to testify against General Semenoff. It was alleged th*.u Semenoff came to the United States ( at the invitation of \f. BakhmetietT who assured the State lYepartrnent that Semenoff was not objectionable Semennff was then admitted into the country.
