JAPAN AND THE PRINCE.
PREPARING FOR THE VISIT IMPERIAL INSTRUCTIONS. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. Reuter's Telegrams. (Received April 10, 10.55 a.m.) Japan is agog in anticipation of the arrival of the Prince of Wales. Welcome arches are springing up in Tokio, Yokohama and other cities, and street cars are carrying instructions to householders to secure Union Jacks to 63* 011 overt* house. Tho magnificent Aoyama Palace has been refurnished, with special preparations for an Imperial cherry’ blossom party- The school children have prepared millioins of paper cherry blossoms with which to strew' the road when the Prince arrives, while there will be a continual bombardment oi daylight fireworks from Yokohama to Tokio along the railway. Tho Prince probably” will find himself more restricted in his movements than at any other time in his life, as a strictly Imperial guest must confine himself within the bounds set by tho Imperial family. There must be no chatting with, street crowds, and no mingling with the celebrators.
