MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. A meeting of the executive of the Canterbury Rugby League wag held on Saturday evening. Mr A. E. Hooper presiding A deputation from Heatbcote Valley -nraited on the committee. Mr "W. J. Pring Btated that the formation of a club would not affect any other I'jcanue club, a.nd the majority of members were in favour of the League code. Tt was decided that the club should he affiliated, to be known ae the Heath cote Rugby League Club, with colours red. black and white hoops. The Waiiuairi Club appliod for affllia*tion. Locke was elected as a delegate on the Match Committee, and the chairman. secretary and treasurer re-elected as fh“ Finance Committee. Tt was decided to forward notice of tb« appreciation of tim members to the S* John Ambulance Association, with a donation to that society.
