A public meeting will he held in the City Council Chambers on Tuesday, at 4 p.m. to set up a committee to raise funds to assist all the blind people in New Zealand.

He. pleaded not guilty, and was admitted to bail on his own recognisance of £2OO and two sureties of £IOO each
