RANG lOR A MARKET. TO-DAY'S SALES. The yarding of sheep at. the Rangiora market this morning included 1729 fat la.mbs. 492 fat ewes and 44 fat wethers. Fat lambs were about equal to last week's quotations, selling up to 7£d per lb over all. Fat ewes were a little easier. The following are the range of prices:— Rest fat lambs made from 21s 6d to 255, medium 16s Id to 20s Id. lighter weight from 12s Id to 14s lud. Best fat ewes made from 14f 9d to 19s 3d: medium 11s 7d to 15s lid; others Ss 6d to 10s. Prime wethers made 24s to 255; medium 20s 7d. There was an entry of 45 pigs. Porkers made 40s. store pigs 22s to 345, weaners 6s to 12s. There was an entry of 23 head of cattle. PRICE OF BUTTER. AUSTRALIAN INCREASES. The New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company has decided to close its dried milk factories at Waitoa. TVaharoa, aud Te Awamutu for six months from April 7 owing to the fact that sufficient powder has been manufactured to meet, trade requirements until the new season's make is available.
