TO THE EDITOR fair,—l notice that a corner of the footpath at the back of Cathedral Square by Dalgety s building is being -ut off to make more room for the jams. As the trams are an octopus in regard to street traffic, I would like to know who has authorised this encroachment on the footpath.—l am, etc., VIGILANT.
