At the wool rales an average selection was ottered. Bidding was brisk from Homo and Continent at full rates. Competition showed a further widening, and the tone was strong. " Ohoka ” touched 36§d, with an average of 34d. Bradford topmakers are very firm, with advanced quotations, but spinners ace holding off and business small. Sixty'four’s, Jiay-June shipment, averaged 48d to 50d; forty-eights, 35d: fiftysixes, 27a; fifties, 21s; forty-sixes, 14id. BUTTER AND CHEESE. LONDON, March 9. Butter is firm, and prices are tending upward. Australian choicest salted is from 132 s to 1345, unsalted 134 s to 1365; New Zealand choicest salted 139 s to 1425; t?n salted 140 s to 1425. Cheese is slow, Best New Zealand white is from 82s to 635; coloured 94s to 955; Australian white 78s to 80s; coloured 90s to 925.
