WELFARE LEAGUE
P. AND T. OFFICERS PROTEST. (Pbr Press Association.) AUCKLAND. Mdrch 9. The Auckland branch of the Post and Telegraph Officers’ Association recorded ‘‘strong resentment of the action of the Welfare League, which has the president and permanent secretary of the association. Tt is of opinion that the Welfare League has as its ultimate object the consolidation of rested interests within the Dominion and it asks the league to please not interfere in matters which are the concern of post and telegraph officers alone. Tile meeting records continued loyalty and regard to the two officers who have been the subjects of the League’s unwarranted attack.”
