B GRADE COMPETITIONS. The seventh round of the B Grade competition was played this afternoon. Results : OPAWA v. SIJMNER, Opawa defeated Sumner by default. ADDINGTON B v. AVONSIDE. The Australasian Lawn Tennis Association has decided to issue a challenge to the United States for the Davis Cup. Brookes, Patterson and Peach were appointed as a selection committee. , THE WILDING CUP. A Bub-committee has been apopinted to frame the regulations for the "Wilding Competition to be conducted on the Davis Cup lines, and to be open to teams from the States and from New Zealand. It i\aa decided that. New Zealand would be regarded as the holder of the oup. the first challenge tie for which will be played in the Dominion.
