ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.

FRACTURED SKULL. (Per Press Association.) PAHIATUA, February 25. George Miller, a single man, aged thirty-nine, was picked up unconscious in Woodville Street late on the night of the second day of the Woodville races. He was admitted the next day to the Paliiatua Hospital, but he never recovered consciousness, and died on Thursday. A post-mortem revealed a fractured skull. The inquest has been adjourned to.
