The abnormal number of deaths due to gas poisoning is directing attention to the dangers of carbon monoxide in domestic gas due to the increased proportion of water-gas. The potency of monoxide poisoning has also led to an alarming epidemic of gas suicides, including a beautiful social butterfly, who was well-known in West End high life. Though deaths from monoxide poisoner have long been increasing they have Wcome extraordinarily frequent lately.”
