The preliminary inquiry in regard to the collision between the steajner Wahine and the tug Lyttelton was held before the Superintendent of Mercantile Marine at Lyttelton on Monday and yesterday. The evidence will be forwarded to the Marine Department. Wellington, who will announce the date of the nautical inqui^v.
