THE BELFAST SHOOTINGS. Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrigcht Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, January 7. At the inquest on nineteen victims of the recent Belfast disorders, a police inspector declared that about 7000 Belfast men of the hooligan type possessed revolvers, which ho believed came from America. Until these men were disarmed he could not see a remedy. The menace of armed men belonged to no particular party. The coroner was of opinion that there is a large Bolshevik element fanning sectarian strife, m order to capture plunder. Tho jury's verdict was one of wilful murder against members of an unlawful association.
