CARRYING OUT SUSPENDED ORDERS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received November 17, 10.20 a.m.) LONDON, November 16. Following on the breaking off of the association -between the Scottish and English steel makers, a “ price war ” lias begun. The latter are offering Clyde firms ship-plates and angles at 20s per ton below the Scottish prices. This has resulted in instructions to shipbuilders to carry out suspended orders.
