LONDON SOCIETY MYSTERY.
LORD GREY’S FUTURE WIFE. LONDON, November 4. All society is gossiping excitedly as to whether Viscount Grey is really marrying Lady Gieuconner. The first announcement of Lord Grey’s impending marriage did not mention the lady's name, but later and bolder statements mentioned Lady Glencoiiner, who was wid6wcd in November, 1920. The lady, however, deepened the mystery by saying, “ 1 cannot say anything.” The newspapers, after searching inquiries in the best social circles, remain mystified. Lady Glenc >nner is a brilliant relative of Airs Margot Asquith. Her husband left £640.000. He bequeathed £IOOO to Lord Grey, his most intimate friend, and nearly all the remainder to his widowThe latter took up spiritualism, and caused a sensation in society by publishing a book purporting to give her dead soldier son’s revelations. Curiously the “ Westminster Gazette*’ to-day publishes her “ Sonnet to a Seagull,” envying tho seagull’s mate who “ seeks but her wild-winged flights with thee to share.”
