PRESBYTERIAN ASSEMBLY.

(Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, November 15. The general assemblv of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand opened to-night and was constituted with 147 ministers and 123 elders. The Rev K. W. Currie, retiring moderator, presided, and the Rev D. Dutton was elected moderator on the nomination of the retiring moderator. Various committees were set up and the treasurer’s statement was adopted.
