Wo three nations ought to shako hands and continue our respective courses in a friendly way. Personally lam anxious that such understanding should be arrived at. It would go far towards securing world peace. Tho United States may b© unable to join >n th© alliance, but form does not matter so long as there can be friendly understanding among the three Powers.”
