MUSICIANS’ BONUS.

(Per Press Association-.) DUNEDIN, November 4. The Arbitration Court sittings opened to-day. The Dunedin performing musicians and the Invercargill musicians applied for the November bonus which was opposed. Mr Breen, for the union, said that Christchurch had received the bonus so that the players there had rfi t-otal bonus of 9s to 6s in Dunedin and Invercargill. Air Cookson, for the employers, stated that tho objection, was that the majority of those interested were engaged in other occupations during the day, drawing a bonus from them. This was denied. The Court reserved its decision.
