Tn consequence of no cargo offering for the monthly trip of the Nnvua to Fiji the voyage lias been cancelled and the crew paid off. Whether the steamer will sail next month depends upon future development". The slackness of trade is attributed to the l.nnana duty and the restrictions on copra or transhipment which means that vessels returning to Australia are practically empty.
