£570 COLLECTED. As tile result of theiNavy Day appeal j made vesterdav. the sum of £571 6s 6d ; was raised. The following were the J takings at the various stalls:— produce , £l2l os 2d; needlework £SO 6s ; cakes | and sweets £4O 10s: flowers £3l 1/s 2d; : hats £3O 11b 6d; nuts and apples £2O j 17s; books £lO 6s. The sale of badges : on the streets and donations realised j £264 12s lid. Mrs W. Wilson, chairwoman of the : Women’s Auxiliary Committee, super- j vised the stalls.
