A Press Association telegram from Wellington states that Archbishop Bartholomeo Cattaneo, Apostolic delegate of the Roman Catholic Church in Australasia, arrived by the Marama on his first official visit to the Dominion. He is accompanied by Archbishop Redwood, Bishop White, of Dunedin, and his secretary. He was met at the wharf by a large body of clergy andl laity. At the Baselica last night he was tendered a canonical reception, and at the close of an impressive service delivered the Apostolic Blessing. Monsignor Cattaneo, who has been in Australia for four years, leaves on Wednesday evening for Dunedin. He will spend a week there and then visit the other three dioceses Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland.
