ENJOYED BY THOUSANDS. Typical spring weather is now gladdening the hearts of thousands of Canterbury's men, women and children. The era of sunshine was ushered in on Saturday, and in the afternoon hundreds of- bowlers, cricketers and tennis players were out in the flannels. The playing fields of Christchurch furnished many animated and delightful pictures. The pioneers built better than they knew when they reserved so many open spaces, and in those possessions Christchurch is the envy of every other city in New Zealand.
