At the conclusion of the meeting of the executive of the Canterbury Industrial Association last night a member stated that he had not been able to hear all that had been said because of the ringing of the Cathedral bells. He suggested that if tho executive was going to continue to meet in the Canterbury Progress League’s rooms tlie meetings should not be held on a Tuesday night but on some night when the bells were not rung- Another member said he had not noticed the ringing of the hells; probable he had got used to them.
