The activities of the Canterbury .Acclimatisation Society have led to the heavy stocking of Canterbury streams notonly with rainbow and brown trout, but. also with the quinnat salmon. Flyfishers in Canterbury are already enjoying good sport during the presentreason, which opened on October 1.
