October 18. —* Mr Chamberlain, in moving a resolution in the House of Commons in favour of the whole time being devoted to Government business, announced that the Government would introduce four Bills dealing with unemployment. Some, if not all. were based on resolutions regarding the money scheme, which must be taken before the Bills were introduced. Consequently, Mr Lloyd George would make a full statement of the Government’s policy tomorrow.
