THE OH BEAUTIFUL.

FLOWERS, SHRUBS AND TREES. Christchurch is known throughout New Zealand as the Garden Cty. .Just now it is the City Beautiful. Spring is doing her work, and flowers, shrubs and trees are wearing their most glorious apparel. In the Gardens©, by the river Avon, and in many of the streets, there are vistas which charm the eye and cheer the heart. In some streets the residents are planting spring flowers on the footpath, putting rows against their fences. The effect is really delightful, and the example should be followed. Do your part In making the Garden City even more of » garden.
