CRICKET.

NEW CLUB FORMED. Tlie Canterbury Football Association, at a meeting last evening, decided to form a cricket club, the purpose being to keep the members of the Canterbury Football Association boys* division in touch with one another. _ Mr H. Frogrgratt presided. The election of officers resulted as follow: Patron, Mr English; president. Mr H. Froggatt.; vicepresidents. Messrs Bunt, East-gate, Garnett, Knights, Welluru, Walker. Trustram, James and Warrington; honorary* secretary, Mr Brazil. It was decided that the club be called the Canterbury Football Association Cricket Club, and that the annual subscription be ‘is Gd. Owing to the postponement of competition games next Saturday, it was decided to hold a practice match at 2 pin., to which all boys under sixteen were cordially invited, at the grounds opposite the Hospital.
