ADJUSTING THE CLAIMS Claims against the vessel Broxt-on, which was sold by order of the ViceAdmiralty Court in Christchurch on September 26, were adjusted by bis Honor Mr Justice Adams, sitting in chambers, in the Admiralty Court, today. Claims for wages were made by thirty-three members of the crew, by the. captain (Gustave F. Swanson) and by Forbes, Ltd., ship's chandlers, Lyttelton, and other creditors. Air O. T. J. Alpers appeared for members of the crew, Mr G. Harper for th© Blackball Coal Coy., which obtained judgment against the vessel for £2OOO, and Mr W. J. Sim for several creditors, and for the captain, who claimed £251 Is 3d wages, maintenance and transport to Seattle. His Honor directed that details of the proceedings should not bo published.
