PROSPECT OF CLEARANCE. RAINFALL 1.719 INCH. The Tain which set in early on Thursday morning continued throughout last* night and this morning, but almost ceased at noon, with the prospect of clear weather by Sunday. Although the sky remained overcast, the temperature rose perceptibly to-day. From Wednesday night until noon to-day tho rainfall was 1.719 in. The. doily totals calculated to 9.30 a.m, are as follows: inches.
